Autumn means anticipation. We all anticipate the cooler weather, changing leaves, coming holidays and finally, the end of the election campaign. We anticipate autumn fun; football games, county fairs, yard work. Members of the Christian Directed singles have been not just anticipating fun but having great activities together. Louis led a very pleasant hike at Tribble Mill Park followed by a pleasant dinner. The trivia team led by Harland has had a number of enjoyable evenings competing in Norcross. There is great satisfaction on getting the multi-part question right because Paul remembered his Greek studies. The dinner and Movie night Ingrid organized was a great success. Everyone enjoyed seeing the movie Sully and then having dinner together. The social at Abbotts was an enjoyable meal together and leisurely conversation with friends. Great times with a great group of friends!

A traditional Thanksgiving Day celebration with turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry mold, sweet potatoes, salads, vegetable side dishes, pie, etc. Donations of time, funds and food contributions welcomed. Help needed with set up 5-6:30 the day before & in shifts for prep, serving and cleanup on the 24th. Dinner between 2:00 and 3:00.
