Auditions to be held

Monday, November 13th 4:15-6:15pm in the gym.

Students in grades 1-5 wishing to audition should register at Auditions start in the gym at 4:00. Plan to stay for the entire two-hour session. Approximately 50-55 students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actor/Directors.There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. There may be cuts.

It is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary. Kids should just be ready to LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS AND HAVE SOME FUN!

The first rehearsal for some of the students will beginimmediately after the auditions, sostudents should bring a sack dinner with them to the audition and be prepared to stay.

Rehearsals will be every day the week of November 13th. Although not all cast members will be needed at every session (e.g. younger students typically rehearse only Wed.-Fri.), those auditioning must be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed after auditions. Please be aware that school dismissal times vary during this week for school conferences. Cast members scheduled for both evening rehearsalsare asked to bring a sack supper, no food deliveries and water only in the gym.

Parents and Guardians are required to volunteer at least one time during the weekper PTA policy. Auditioning is free, but there is a $40 fee if your student is cast in the show. Please see Mrs. Robb in the office if you need a scholarship.

Performances will be at 3:00pm and 5:30pm onSaturday, November 18thin the gym. Tickets will cost $3 for students and $5 for adults. Dress rehearsals will be most of the morning on Saturday. All those cast must be available for dress rehearsal and both performances.

Students must register to be allowed to audition. Space is limited. Students will be dismissed from the gym. No student will be allowed in the parking lot to wait for pick up. Parents must COME TO THE GYM to get children.
