This is the 20th year that our community has banded together to make a difference in the lives of graduating seniors at Mira Loma High School by organizing a Safe and Sober Grad Night.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Grad Night, parents in the Bay Area who were concerned about their graduates safely celebrating the end of their high school years without drugs, alcohol or fear of injury, or worse in an accident, began Sober Grad Night. The idea has since spread across the country and involves hundreds of thousands of graduates every year.
Mira Loma High School is located in Sacramento, California and is part of the San Juan Unified School District. We have about 1600 students enrolled, with an approximate class size of 400 graduated. For more information and background on Mira Loma please see this info sheet located here
Mira Loma's Grad Night Tuesday, June 6th 2017 keeps our kids safe while they enjoy a fun all-night party with their friends! Our Safe and Sober Grad Night is an independent non-profit organization run by parents and volunteers with the Mira Loma High School Boosters Club. Our goal is to provide a safe, substance-free celebration for the enjoyment of our graduates.
Grad Night is a supervised, all-night event that provides our graduating class of 2017 seniors an opportunity to celebrate with their classmates one final time in a safe and sober environment. Communities that provide a Grad Night have virtually eliminated alcohol and drug related injuries on graduation night.
We are asking for INSERT COMPANY NAME support as it will help guarantee the success of Grad Night 2017 for our 400 graduating seniors!!
