Travel Arrangements:
Birnam is well situated for easy access by car, bus and train:
By Car:
The BACC is just off the main A9 Perth to Inverness trunk road. The BACC houses the Beatrix Potter Exhibition which is signposted from the A9 by brown “thistle” signs.
§ Parking in Dunkeld & Birnam:
There are two car parks in Dunkeld and another in Birnam alongside the BACC, as well as free on-street parking. Please see the Dunkeld & Birnam Tourist and Information Centre’s leaflet for further details.
§ By road from the South:
Birnam is 12 miles north of Perth. Follow the signposts for Birnam and Dunkeld, turning right off the A9. The BACC is in the centre of the village.
§ By road from the North:
Turn left off the A9 following signs for Birnam and Dunkeld, then immediately right for Birnam. The BACC is approximately 600 yards further on, on the right.

By Train:
There is a direct service from Edinburgh (Waverley), Glasgow (Queen Street) and Inverness railway stations to Dunkeld & Birnam Station. There are also railway connections from Perth.
The BACC is two minutes walk from Dunkeld & Birnam Station. From the station, follow the signs leading you through the underpass and down to the main road. Turn right at the main road. The BACC is straight ahead, 100 yards on the right.

By Bus:
There is a direct bus service (bus no. M91) from Edinburgh (St Andrew’s Square) and Inverness to Perth stopping at Birnam.
From Glasgow, passengers are required to take the bus service to Perth (bus no. M8) and then change at Perth for the bus service to Birnam (bus no. M91).
