Madison Herbal Institute presentsHerbDay!-- a free educational event for our community, celebrating the importance of medicinal plants. Come, be a Sponsor or Vendor for ourHerbDay event at Olbrich Gardens and help us celebrate the beauty and wonder of herbs! All Wisconsin businesses who share a passion for plants and herbal medicine are welcome to participate.

Herb Day in Madison is a family-friendly event organized each year since 2007 by the Madison Herbal Institute (MHI). MHI is a non-profit group founded to promote herbal education in our community. All day long, on June 10th, free herbal classes and herb walks for adults and children will be led by Wisconsin herbalists at Olbrich Gardens.

The Herbal Marketplace in the Commons Area provides a center of activity and community connection. You can purchase hand-made herbal products, plant starts, and books from local Wisconsin businesses and talk with practitioners who utilize herbs and natural medicine. You canfind out about schools, apprenticeships, and educational events in our area that focus on herbal learning. You can connect with Madison’s herbal organizations; more than ever are thriving now in our community!

HerbDay 2017 brought 452 herbal enthusiasts to the Herbal Marketplace in Olbrich Gardens, 250 of whom attended herb walks and herb classes throughout the day.

This year the Gardens are expected to be at the peak of early summer flowering beauty on the day of our event!

Your business can participate in ourcelebration and support herbal education by being an HerbDay Sponsor. Eachsponsorship level includes a reserved space in the Herbal Marketplace if you wish to represent your business, practice, or organization, or sell herbal teas, plants, tinctures, soaps, salves,essential oils, or books. Various levels of advertising in our Herb Day Program and promotion are included in the sponsor packages. (See Sponsor levels and what they includebelow)
