This event is being held as a fundraiser to assist Tully Watt’s efforts in participating in the Youth Olympic Games in 2018. Tully competes in the sport of Modern Pentathlon and is the current Australian Youth A Modern Pentathlon Champion. Tully has been a valued member of Emu Creek PC for the last 13 years and we wish her every success in her endeavours.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES

Emu Creek Pony Club Inc. does not accept any liability for accidents, damage, illness or loss to any person, horse or property.

GEAR CHECKSAll competitors must have a gear check. Note medical armbands must be worn.

All riders will need to fill out a Public Liability declaration form if one has not been filled out for the dressage competition.

No stallions as per PCAV regulations

The organising committee reserve the right to alter the program as they see fit and entries accepted at organiser’s discretion.

Excellent catering available for the event.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS – PLEASE READ

All participants in an Open Competition, Clinic or activity - including Pony Club Members- MUST sign a Public Liability Declaration Form.

Riders without adequate Insurance Liability Cover MUST ALSOcomplete the Day Participant Waiver and pay $10 per day fee.

Participants who are NOT current members of PCAV, HRCAV, Equestrian Australia* (EA), an Inter State Pony Club, Arab Horse Society of Australia (AHSA), Australian Endurance Riders Association (AERA) and cannot provide proof that they are covered by Public Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum of $10,000.000.00 cover must pay $10 per day to cover the cost to participate.

Participants must provide proof of current membership or Insurance cover to avoid paying the $10 per day Day Participant Fee (*EA -must be a direct member, not just a member of an EA affiliated Club)

The PCAV insurance policy specifically states that anyone not following PCAV rules may be left uninsured.

Yards. We have constructed a number of new yards for anyone who wishes to use these for overnight stays. The cost is $15/night. Please book when you do your entries via event secretary.
