ASTUREX(Sociedad de Promoción Exterior Principado de Asturias S.A.) the International Trade Promotion Organisation of the Principality of Asturias, Spain, is currently searching for existing consortia or partnersto submit a proposal to the COSME CALL "COS-EPTA-2015-2-01, Cooperation with the European Trade Promotion Organisations active in business internationalization and business missions abroad"[1], included in the COSME Work Programme 2015 - European Commission.

Specifically, ASTUREX is interested in participate under the Strand 1 that support activities to enhance cooperation among trade promotion organizations in Europe and with the European Commission.The deadline for electronic submission is 19 March 2015 at 17:00 hours (Brussels time).

ASTUREX[2] was created in 2005 and since then its mission is to implement, lead and coordinate all external promotion activities carried out by the Regional Government and other Institutions on behalf of Asturias Enterprises. In order to achieve its mission, ASTUREX provides technical and economic support directly to companies, with a special focus in the support of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

ASTUREX provides services to these companies under four strands:

-Research and promotion of commercial opportunities: including the analysis of traditional and new markets, organizing missions abroad through a wide network of onsite collaborators, promoting opportunities within companies through conferences, forums and seminars and inviting potential partners and clients in inverse missions.

-Consolidation of the number of exporting companies by supporting individual projectsand the promotion of collaboration between companies for their internationalization, enhancing and supporting the establishment of consortia for foreign markets.

-Introduction to exportation by implementing training and consultant support programmes on introducing exportation and International public tenders. Conferences and seminars are also held in this strand.

-International promotion of enterprises by designing and implementing sectorial plans, and through the external networks services

All those activities are to be eligible under the Strand I of the COSME CALL. However, we understand that final activities to be submitted to the call will be agreed among the members of the consortia.
