Position reports to: / Nurse Unit Manager Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)and
Nurse Unit Manager Special Care Nursery (SCN) / Positions reporting to this one: / Clinical staff and multi disciplinary team.
Position Purpose: /
  • Compliment and support the strategic direction and management within the Neonatal Nurseries.
  • Respond to and effectively manage the day to day operation of the Neonatal Nurseries in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Promote excellence in clinical practice and family centred care.
  • Provide leadership and clinical support to the nursing team.

Qualifications: /
  • Division 1 Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife
  • Post Graduate qualification in neonatal nursing
