Goal / MEASUREMENT INDICATORS / EVIDENCE OF ATTAINMENT /
Goal #1.
The Executive Director will work with the Budget Standing Committee in order to promote the need for Regional Transportation Reimbursement at a higher level.
/ ·  The Budget Committee will make contacts with ESE and the Legislators in an effort to improve the reimbursement rate / · 
Goal #2
The Executive Director will work the Professional Development Standing Committee in developing a program for new regional Superintendents and Business Administrators. The Professional Development Committee will coordinate programs with MAVA, MASS, and MASBO.
/ ·  The Executive Director will call the first meeting of the Professional Development Committee to begin the program for new superintendents and business administrator. He will also contact the Executive Directors of MAVA, MASS, and MASBO so as to coordinate programs with them. / · 
Goal #3
The Executive Director will work with EOE, ESE, and the Legislature so that current governance issues are addressed during the upcoming proposed regionalization process. / ·  The Executive Director will work with the Regionalization Standing Committee to arrange meetings with EOE, ESE, and Legislators in order to address current regional issues / · 
Goal #4
In concert with the Executive Board and membership, the Executive Director will coordinate and recruit members to join the standing committees of MARS.
/ ·  The Executive Director will call the first meeting of the standing committees:
Budget (Insurance and Medicaid)
Legislation
Professional Development
School Building
Regionalization
Grants
·  For each standing committee, a chair will be chosen and regular meetings or conference calls will be scheduled / · 
Goal #5
The Executive Director and the Webmaster will establish a working group to restructure and add new items to the MARS Website. / ·  At the end of the year, the Website will have been restructured and new items added. / · 
Goal #6
The Central Office Study Team will complete the Contract with ESE on central office capacity. / ·  The data will be analyzed and the results presented to ESE and the membership / · 
Goal #7
In order to promote participation by all the membership, the Executive Director will work to use technology that will allow members not to have to travel long distances. / ·  The Executive Director will coordinate the use of Webcasting and conference calls. / · 
Goal #8
To strengthen the overall regional delivery system and foster continuity, the Executive Director will make onsite visits to each of newly governed regional LEAs and attend Roundtables. / ·  The Executive Director will visit new superintendents in the fall.
·  The Executive Director will contact each Roundtable and arrange to attend meetings. / ·
