ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dean of the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics of Warsaw University of Life Sciences announces an opening at the level of

Assistant Professor (Adiunkt)

in Mathematics

The applicant must fulfill requirements of the regulations contained inart. 114 of the act of July 27 th 2005. – High Education Act (Dz. U. no 164 pos. 1365 with the amendment art. 1 pt 91 of March 18th 2011) and in the Statute of Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Att. 6 pt 9).

The position of an Assistant Professor requires the following:

1.  a PhD in Mathematics,

2.  at least four published papers in reviewed journals,

3.  experience in teaching mathematics at the university level

4.  for internal candidates of the faculty – positive opinion of the faculty didactic committee on teaching skills; for external candidates – positive opinion on a seminar delivered during a departmental meting,

5.  fluent command of the Polish language (at least on the C1 level).

The applicant should apply for the job in a written form addressed to the Rector of Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW with the following attachments:

·  personal questionnaire with two photos;

·  CV;

·  copy of the PhD diploma;

·  list of published papers and papers accepted for publication (with confirmation of the publisher);

·  references from the previous employer;

·  certificate of employment;

·  A statement that the candidate meets the requirements of Article 109 paragraph 1 of the High School Act (forms are available in Staff Office and in Department)
