Details of Submission:
All work should be deposited in the “POST BOX” situated at the back entrance to B Block Morgannwg Building, completing the coursework slips provided. No receipts are issued and the “POST BOX” will be emptied at 4.30 p.m. every day (4 p.m. on Friday) and all work will be date stamped. Alternatively, students may submit their work to the Department of Science and Sport Reception desk, outside B143 between 1.30 and 2.30 p.m Monday to Friday. The student’s copy of the coursework slip will then be initialled, acting as a receipt.
No marks will be awarded to work submitted after the above submission date.
The work will be marked out of 100 and contributes 20% of the module.

PART D : Detailed Instructions
In the lecture and practical sessions we discussed how to approach digital devices present at a crime scene. This coursework requires you to research the problems and issues associated with a specific device. Select ONE device from the following list:
·  Apple iPhone
·  Nokia E61i Cellphone
·  Panasonic Lumix G1 with an Eye-Fi SD Memory card
The coursework has two components.
1.  A section describing the type of information that could be held on your chosen device and where (internal memory, disk, memory card (e.g. SD, CF) etc).
2.  A section outlining any procedures / problems when seizing this device at a crime scene and forensically processing the device in a laboratory.
The coursework should be word processed and referenced where appropriate. A suggested total word count of is approximately 800-2000 words.
