Title: Internet Access Node Maintenance. Duration: Aug’98-Sept’98

Equipments: Cisco Routers, RAS, Switches, Hubs etc.

Scope: The project aimed at maintenance of Internet Access Nodes, part of BSNL's NIB (National Internet Backbone) and Continuous monitoring of Nodes for any problem in the network or equipment.

This required generating weekly reports for identifying problems that might arise in the equipment and Traffic calculation, identifying & rectifying problem arising in accessing the Internet through this equipment at the earliest in coordination with the concerned officials at the site.

Scope: This project involves installation, configuration, testing, implementation and commissioning of 'C' type Internet Nodes for National Internet Backbone (NIB) being created by the BSNL (Formerly DOT) for Internet Access. The project focused on physical installation of Cisco Equipment's like Routers, RAS, Switches etc., configuration of Routers for Dial-up Lines, Lease Lines, ISDN Lines using Cisco IOS, interfacing with PSTN networks, Commissioning of the BSNL Network.

Title: DGP Project of Traffic Signals Duration: Jan’99-Feb’99

Equipment Used: Traffic Light, Poles, Cables and Controller

Scope: The project was implemented to install and maintain Traffic signals. This required preparation of the Sketch of Signal lights and Controller, estimation of the cable length and types of cable to be used, generation of weekly reports for identifying problems that might arise in the equipment and Traffic calculation, identification and rectification of problem arising in accessing the internal controller after installation.
