ARRESTS, MAY 8-15: 12 GO TO JAIL

Twelve individuals were arrested in La Salle County over the past week by sheriff’s deputies and troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol.
Those taken into custody, with arrest times logged at booking in the La Salle County Jail in Cotulla between Monday, May 8, and May 15, included the following:
Daniel Joel Garcia, 29, of Alice, Texas; arrested 6:40 p.m. Monday, May 8, by the Texas DPS; warrant issued in Jim Wells County for state jail felony child support payment, Class B misdemeanor driving while license is not valid with a previous conviction; released on bond after 18 hours.
Emmanuel Roberto Rueda, 24, of Laredo; arrested 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, Class B misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2A; released on bond after one day, five hours.
Alexandra Robles, 29, of San Antonio; arrested 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 11, by the Sheriff’s Office; state jail felony warrant issued in La Salle District Court for failure to appear in court, misdemeanor warrants issued by La Salle County Justice of the Peace for failure to appear in court; remains in jail as of May 15.
Noel Rene Niaves, 56, of Cotulla; arrested 5:36 p.m. Thursday, May 11, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrants issued in La Salle County for interfering with public duties and Class A misdemeanor assault by contact; released on bond after two hours.
Victor Orlando Velasco, 28, of Cotulla; arrested 6:23 p.m. Thursday, May 11, by the Sheriff’s Office; third-degree felony tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, Class B misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 2A, warrants issued by La Salle County Justice of the Peace for violating a promise to appear in court and payment of a fine for possession of drug paraphernalia; released on bond after 23 hours.
Ramon Nunez, 60, of Cotulla; arrested 8:23 p.m. Thursday, May 11, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor public intoxication; court-ordered release after 17 hours.
Deyanira Ramirez, 31, of Cotulla; arrested 6:05 p.m. Friday, May 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; warrant issued by La Salle County Justice of the Peace for payment of a fine for disregarding a stop sign; released on bond after three hours.
Michael Anthony Luna, 30, of Laredo; arrested 7:20 p.m. Friday, May 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; misdemeanor driving without a license; released after one day, three hours.
Rocky Luna Jr., 34, of Laredo; arrested 7:04 p.m. Friday, May 12, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana; released on bond after two days, 14 hours.
Rolando Gamboa, 36, of Corpus Christi; arrested 9:05 p.m. Friday, May 12, by the Texas DPS; warrants issued by La Salle County Justice of the Peace for violating a promise to appear in court, driving while license is not valid, and speeding more than ten percent over the posted limit; released on bond after one day, one hour.
Charles Dustin West, 36, of Buffalo, Texas; arrested 3:45 a.m. Sunday, May 14, by the Texas DPS; Class B misdemeanor driving while intoxicated or with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle; remains in jail as of May 15.
Abelardo Molina, 33, of Cotulla; arrested 12:07 a.m. Monday, May 15, by the Sheriff’s Office; Class B misdemeanor driving while license is not valid with a previous conviction; remains in jail as of May 15.
