IMPORTANT NOTES:

Habitat activities during the week will include both construction and community development activities. Both are key in reaching our goal of transforming the lives of our families and communities. Activities will be defined with the community and with the families.

Day 3: On Monday there will be a short orientation on site to meet the families, learn about the history of their neighborhood, the projects, and go over logistics and safety. We will also do a few ice breakers with the families in order for everyone to get to know each other and start building trust.

Day 4: We will hold a Mid-week evaluation meeting as a check in with the Team Leader on Tuesday evening. It will take place at the hotel before dinner. (To be agreed upon between Team Leader and Field Assistant).

Day 7: On Friday, following half a day of work, we will hold the farewell lunch in the community, where the families will join us.

Closings and Reflections: Please note that it is important to Habitat Argentina that the closings are done each day. It of course is flexible, but it is important for there to be a space of reflection for the families and for the volunteers to share, for this to be a truly transformative experience. The Field Assistant has resources/activities/reflections for these spaces and will lead the closings, but the Team Leader is welcomed and encouraged to work with the Field Assistant throughout the week in facilitating these spaces.
