I hereby agree that if any of the information herein contained is false, any lease made on the strength of this application may, at the option of AREM, be terminated at any time. I authorize AREM to contact various individuals, firms and others to verify credit, employment, and landlord information, and I authorize release of information regarding same to AREM. THERE IS A BASIC APPLICATION FEE OF $40.00 (non-refundable) PER APPLICANT, PAYABLE IN CASH ONLY BY THE APPLICANT upon submission of the application.

NOTICE: Applicant is advised that Landlord is employed by and acting as agent for the owner. This application is taken subject to the approval of the property owner. If AREM and/or the property owner elect not to rent to the applicant FOR ANY REASON, applicant agrees that AREM shall NOT be required to provide an explanation therefore and may do so without any liability on the part of AREM or the property owner.

On some rare occasions tenants change their minds after they have agreed orally, or in writing, to lease the unit they have applied for, and they may have paid a security deposit or rent. In these cases, AREM and the property owners have taken the unit off the market and may have turned away other potential tenants, with resultant loss of income for the owner. It may take some time to re-lease the unit to another tenant. If you have committed to lease the unit orally or in writing and then you decide not to move into the unit for any reason, YOUR APPLICATION AND/OR SECURITY DEPOSIT SHALL BE FORFEITED. A pro-rata portion of rent, if you have paid in advance, may also be forfeited whether or not you have signed written lease and security deposit agreements. BE SURE YOU WANT THE RENTAL UNIT BEFORE YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT TO RENT IT! THIS IS A CONTRACT, SO ASK QUESTIONS AND UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE SIGNING IT!
