Membership is £20 for a year and a £2 fee is charged for the workshop per session.

Social Area: comfy seating and a kitchen. Call in for a drink and a natter or whatever you want to do! Computers available with assistance if you need it, jigsaws, play cards, read books etc

Workshop: There for you to use if you want to make something! A garden gate? A bird table? Repair an old chair? Help is at hand and they have several projects in the pipeline.

“In Touch” Annual membership fee£6.

In Touch meets twice a week at the Maurice Jagger Centre on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Refreshments, for which a small charge is made, are available from 9.45am. Regular classes are held as follows:

Monday 10.15 - 11.15amTai Chi- for people with mobility problems as most members remain seated.

Tuesday 10.15 - 11.15am Gentle Exercise -This is also suitable for people with some mobility problems.

Tuesday 11.15 - 12.15pm Reminiscing -This group shares information and memories from the past.

All classesare run by qualified paid tutors so a small charge is made.In Touch has a‘try before you buy’policy which means you can to try the activities free of charge for a taster session.

Raffles are held on both days. Proceeds pay for prizes and towards trips which take place throughout the year. Occasional speakers and runsbingo sessions from 11.30 on Monday. Each year there is a Christmas lunch with entertainment.

If have trouble getting to any of these activities transport may be able to be arranged.
