Architecture of WeldTrack 6.1
There are a total of four databases contained in WeldTrack 6.1N, each storing different data.
- Credits Database stores the following data
- Data entry credits
- This database is stored on the Weld Data Systems server which you access through the internet
- You only need an internet connection when you add welds
- Master Database stores the following data
- List of Welders in this Project
- List of WPS’s in this Project
- List of Specifications in this Project
- Weld Details
- Drawings
- This database is stored on the client’s computer
- Project Database stores the following data
- Welders’ Qualifications
- WPS’s
- Specifications
- Quality Codes
- Contractors
- This database is stored on the client’s computer
- Data Station Database
- Search parameters
- Welders to include in printouts
- Last Project selected
- This database is stored on the client’s computer
In addition to storing data, the Data Station is the only place users have access to the data. It is at these stations where you can perform the following tasks:
- Project Creation
- Data Entry
- Data Editing
- Report Generation
- Create Users
- Reset passwords
- Remove Users
