7. If this is a group entry please list the members of the group (including email addresses) and define their role within the group. All members of the group must be post-doctoral researchers or PhD students (See question 8). Note that the prize money awarded will be £3,000 in total, not per individual.

8. This competition is open to post-doctoral researchers and PhD students. To be eligible you must either be registered as a PhD student or meet the EPSRC post-doctoral person specification (see: Please provide a short summary as to why you believe you and/or your team members are a post-doctoral researcher or PhD student (max. 100 words for an individual or 200 words for a team).

9. Provide a description of your workon ARCHERand the impact this has had/will have. Impact as defined by RCUK, see: This should be aimed at a non-specialist and should be accessible to those outside your field. (Max 300 words excluding figures and references).

10. Please explain why this is an example of the “Best Use” of ARCHER. Again, this should be aimed at a non-specialist and should be accessible to those outside your field. (max. 300 words)

11. Successful entries will be awarded £3,000 to be used for travel between the UK and the US. Please describe how you would use the £3,000 prize. How will this further collaboration opportunities with US partners? Describe the science opportunities this collaboration will enable and the anticipated impact. (max. 500 words).
