APWH Movie Extra Credit (one per semester maximum)
Assignment:
- For each movie you choose, research the historical accuracy of the events that occurred. Write at least 2½ pages, double-spaced, comparing the movie to what actually happened.
- Then select a ten minute (approximately) video clip that you think would be the most beneficial to show in class. In your written analysis, briefly explain the context of the clip, including what happens during the clip that is worth viewing and why it would be useful to show to your APWH class.
- Your overall written analysis must be a minimum of 3 pages, double-spaced. Don’t forget to include your sources.
- Turn in to turnitin.com (see course website for class ID and enrollment password).You do not need to turn in a hard copy.
- Be sure to get your parent’s permission if necessary before watching any “R” rated films!
