Main Purpose:

·  Support the development of and execute a strategic approach to both intermediated (and on occasion) direct sales of B&CE’s pension and other products to achieve targeted objectives. These will be focussed on increasing investment funds under management, product sales, drive long-term business growth, promoting operational efficiency and securing client retention wrapped in ‘first class’ customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Examine and understand the intermediary organisation’s structure, politics and key drivers

·  To create and implement an engagement plan for all key accounts, setting strategic approach and key objectives.

·  Meet with all key accounts at appropriate frequency to identify business opportunity and gather client intelligence to gain an increase in funds under management and long term growth

·  To establish working relationships with clients at all levels including Director to Director and CEO to CEO if appropriate

·  Actively look to improve the service provided and to identify operationally efficient new business streams promoting super user functionality

·  To have the flexibility to deal with any third party/ advisory relationships as new products come on-line

·  Responsible for completion and accuracy of internal CRM system in a timely fashion and the creation of monthly reports against agreed KPI’s

·  Liaise closely with operational team to ensure the transactional experience for key intermediaries is at the highest possible standard

·  Support intermediaries through the provision of information to update technical changes, disclosure, governance and legislative updates

·  Participate in any sales-related projects / tasks as necessary.

Job Holder Specification:

Formal Education: / ·  Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
·  QCF Level 3 (CFP,FPC or RPC) as a minimum
·  Progression towards Diploma in Financial Planning and AF3 (or equivalent) is desirable.
·  PMI AE Qualification (Desirable)
Experience: / ·  Field sales experience of B2B
Technical Experience: / ·  Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and pension products
·  Experience and understanding of sales processes
·  Competent in Word/Excel/PowerPoint/E-mail/Internet applications.
·  Presenting to clients at a senior management/board level.
·  Experience and understanding of sales processes
·  Competent in Word/Excel/Powerpoint
