APPLICATIONS FOR INCLUSION ON APPROVED CONTRACTORS LIST

EXPLANATORY NOTE: Please read carefully before completing

  1. Completed application forms together with supporting documentation must be submitted by email only to . Hard copies will not be accepted.
  2. It is the responsibility of the applicants to submit all supporting documentation such as copies of insurances, health and safety statement, tax clearance certificates, RGI certs and licences.
  3. In relation to contractors/service providers who provide services that require RGI or licensing, it is the applicant’s responsibility to include copies of each necessary document.
  4. Each declaration must be ticked and signed (scanned/pdf format).
  5. Applications for inclusion in list will be accepted at any time, however, only completed applications received by the last working day of each month will be processed within the next 10 working days.
  6. Applicants who are not included will be informed by email why they were not included and are welcome to resubmit
  7. All correspondence in relation to the application process and any update documents sought by Co-operative Housing Ireland will be communicated via email. It is the responsibility of successful applicants to maintain an active email account.
  8. Co-operative Housing Irelandwill seek, via email, updated documents as required, for instance insurance renewal. Any updated documents sought by Co-operative Housing Irelandmust be returned within the timeframe given in the communication. Failure to do so will lead to approval being withdrawn.
  9. All applicants should be aware that successful applicants are agreeing to be subject to performance and health and safety audits. Co-operative Housing Irelandreserves the right to remove contractors from the approved contractors list for poor performance or breaches in health and safety.
  10. All applicants should be aware that Co-operative Housing Irelandseeks feedback from its members in relation to contractor performance and customer relations, Co-operative Housing Irelandreserves the right to remove contractors from the approved contractors list for not maintaining high levels of customer service.
  11. All applicants should be aware the Co-operative Housing Irelandreserves the right to remove contractors from the approved contractors list for breaches in employment law, in particular breaches under National Minimum Wage Act. Co-operative Housing Irelandreserves the right to seek confirmation of adherence to this act and failure to comply with that request could lead to removal from the list.
  12. All applicants should be aware that inclusion in the approved contractors list does not imply a contract either to seek quotes or to engage in works.
  13. As part of Co-operative Housing Ireland’scommitment to quality services and continuous improvement, the Association seeks information from applicants on a range of policies in Section 9B of the application form. Applicants are advised that the items listed in this section are not mandatory and the absence of any of these items will not prevent an applicant from being considered.
