1Reason for revision
This version of the application firmware shall be used in DBC425 02 (Dialog 4425 version 2), DBC 422 02 (Dialog 4422 version 2) and DBC 420 02 (Dialog 4420).
Newfunctionality
- Voice recording with Nice Perform® recording:
- New check that the message, starting the recording, originates from a permitted IP address.
- Possibility to use a function key on the telephone to start and stop the recording.
- The messages to the voice recording system can be 1500 bytes compared to 1000 bytes in previous applications
- VLAN identity. A new parameter is added in the configuration file to be able to select whether the telephones after a reboot shall retain the previous used VLAN identity or if it should start a new automatic VLAN detection procedure.In certain networks it is necessary to keep the previous VLAN identity even after a power reboot. Related trouble report: TR63654, TT84809.
- Possibility to display the number of messagesfor this extension in the idle menu. This feature needs support in the PBX software.
- DNS SRV records: the identity is changed from _aas442x_cfg._tcp to aasdbc_cfg._tcp and from aas442x_sgmt._tcp to aasdbc_sgmt._tcp
- With a new parameter in the configuration file, it is possible to define if a duplicated IP addresses shall be ignored or not. The default value is not ignoring.
Fault corrections.
- Calls were not delivered from group hunting queue to free group hunting member. TR63689, TT84738.
- Wrong name was shown after call transfer in SIP mode. BP6483.
- When pressing the follow-me key, the follow me was not cancelled. BP6504.
- QoS: When reporting QoS data (in the IRR message) to the telephony server a number of fault corrections are included.
2Technical solution
The application firmware has been updated.
Replace the current application with the R7M version.
3Other products concerned
The boot CAA 1580044 R3Tmust be used.
The language file CAA 1580045 R7E must be used.

5Recommended measures
The new configuration file R7M contains new parameter values. At upgrading the recommendation is to use the new configuration file and adapt it with all site dependant parameter values.
This revision isto be introduced in new manufacturing.
