1. INTRODUCTION

The Association of Corporate Counsel of America Georgia Chapter Inc. (“ACC Georgia”) appreciates your interest in our sponsorship program. ACC Georgia sponsorships are tied to substantive meetings and networking events for our members. It is expected that members of the sponsoring organization will present these programs and/or host the networking events. We feel that providing sponsors with an opportunity to showcase their expertise and experience to our members provides a substantial benefit to our sponsors. Sponsorship costs paid by sponsors provide funding for these programs and for ACC Georgia’s community outreach programs, such as providing internships for deserving diverselaw students.

The information requested in this Application will assist us in evaluating your firm or company as a potential sponsor. Please be aware that submitting an application for sponsorship does not guarantee that there will be space available or that your area of expertise will be a good fit with ACC Georgia’s program needs. Selection of sponsors is at the sole discretion of ACC Georgia.

Acceptance of your Application will constitute an Agreement between ACC Georgia and your firm or company for sponsorship of the program designated below.

3. SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

Please indicate below the sponsorship level for which you are applying. Refer to the ACC Georgia Sponsorship Guidelines and Standards (“Guidelines”), a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A, for a summary of the rights and benefits of sponsorship applicable to each sponsorship level. If accepted, Applicant in accordance with the Guidelines shall sponsor and present the program(s) (“Sponsored Program(s)”) and pay the applicable sponsorship cost selected below:

Platinum (Limit 2 per calendar year)

One (1) hour CLE Luncheon Program (8-11 Available per year); plus choice of

Symposium Program (several available at various times during each year) or

Networking/Social Gathering (several available at various times during each year)

Cost: $12,000 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Gold (Spring Program)

Ethics and Professionalism

Two (2) hours CLE Luncheon and Social Event

Cost: $7,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Gold (Fall Program)

Employment Law Update

Two (2) hours CLE Luncheon and Social Event

Cost: $7,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Silver

Luncheon Programs (8-10 Available Per Year)

One (1) hour CLE Luncheon and Social Event

Cost: $6,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Symposium

Special CLE Program (several available at various times during each year)

One (1) hour CLE Luncheon and Social Event

Cost: $3,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia plus Sponsor pays all venue, food and beverage costs for the program

itself and an after-program reception anticipated to approximate $3,000

Women’s Initiative

Catalyst

Cost: $7,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Strategic

Cost: $5,000 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

Thought Leader

Cost: $2,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia. ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated

with venue, food beverage and gratuities for the Sponsored Program.

This Application and Agreement and the sponsorship cost payable to ACC Georgia are applicable only to the Sponsored Program selected above.

Note that ACC Georgia does not warrant or guarantee (i) the number of ACC Georgia members who will be in attendance at the Sponsored Program or (ii) any results from the opportunity for Applicant to sponsor or present the Sponsored Program.

For Silver and Symposium level sponsorships, please summarize below the program topic or topics that your firm or company could present. Attach additional sheets as necessary, including program materials, if available.

If selected, Applicant will bear all of its own costs and expenses of preparing for and presenting the Sponsored Program, including the costs for any reproductions and printed materials. ACC Georgia will bear the following costs and expenses for a Gold or Silver (luncheon program) programs: (i) meeting room, (ii) food, (iii) beverage and (iv) standard audio-visual equipment. The Gold and Silver programs will be presented from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 1601 Cumberland Mall, Atlanta, GA 30339-3162 or such other location as determined by ACC Georgia. If the Sponsored Program is a Gold or Silver program, ACC Georgia will select the menu. If the Sponsored Program is a Symposium program, the Sponsor will select the menu and cover the cost of food, beverage and gratuities to be served at the program. If the Sponsored Program is not a Gold, Silver or Symposium program and involves a social event, ACC Georgia will select the menu in consultation with Applicant, considering cost and quality of the event.

This Application and Agreement shall be construed under and governed by Georgia law without giving effect to its conflicts of laws rules. This Application and Agreement shall become an agreement between the Applicant and ACC Georgia only upon written signature by the VP, Sponsorships and Programs, or in the case of a Symposium (special) program by the VP, Special Programs, or in the case of the Women’s Initiative or other Strategic Initiative program by the VP, Strategic Initiatives, in the acceptance block provided below on the original of this Application and Agreement.

Sponsorship Guidelines

The Georgia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (“ACC Georgia”), also known as the "in-house bar association,” is pleased that you have agreed to sponsor one of our Chapter events. ACC Georgia has over 900 in-house counsel members from a broad range of area corporations and is the leading source of information and networking opportunities for in-house counsel in the Georgia and Atlanta area. Our Chapter events are designed for the professional development and camaraderie of our members.

As a sponsor, your organization will assist ACC Georgia in achieving our primary sponsorship objectives: to raise funds for causes that benefit the legal profession, including the funding of diverse law student internships and to promote our Chapter’s mission. In addition, your organization will receive many benefits, including name recognition at the sponsored event. We sincerely hope that you will find that the benefits of sponsorship of one of our events make it a worthwhile endeavor.

ACC Georgia Silver luncheon programs typically are held at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Cumberland Mall located at Maggiano’s Little Italy, 1601 Cumberland Mall SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. Luncheon Programs are typically held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meeting begins at noon with Chapter business and announcements followed by the titled program. Presentations should last approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour with time for questions.

*Sponsor organizations who desire to sponsor multiple different programs, (e.g., luncheon and Women’s Initiative programs) may be entitled to a 15% discount on the lower cost program.

Sponsorship Levels

Platinum Level (Maximum 2 Sponsors)

  • Cost: $12,000
  • Sole presenter or host of up to two (2) different types of events, 1 CLE lunch and either a Special Program or Social event (each a “Sponsored Event”)
  • ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated with venue, food, beverage and gratuities for the CLE Lunch program. Any such expenses for Special Program or Social Event will be the responsibility of the Sponsor.
  • Prominent advertisement as a Platinum Sponsor in ACC Georgia Chapter communications throughout the year of sponsorship
  • Prominent advertisement of Sponsored Events on the ACC Georgia Chapter website and social media outlets and via a co-branded email blast to the chapter membership in the weeks prior to the event
  • Posting of presentation materials on the ACC Georgia Chapter website, after the Sponsored Event, and if accepted by ACC Headquarters, posting in the ACC national virtual library.
  • Attendance by up to ten (10) sponsor organization members at each Sponsored Event
  • Pre-approved marketing materials/handouts on tables at each Sponsored Event
  • Acknowledgement of Sponsor organization by chapter board member at the beginning and end of each Program
  • Acknowledgement during the CLE Event for role in funding Summer Law Internship Program
  • Four (4) guest invitations to attend the ACC Georgia Chapter Sponsors’ Appreciation event

Gold Level(Maximum 2 Sponsors)

  • Cost: $7,500
  • ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated with venue, food, beverage and gratuities.
  • Sole presenter of one of the following:
  • Fall CLE Program (2 hours minimum) preceded and/or followed by Social event (wine tasting, networking, cocktail hour)
  • Spring CLE Program (professionalism/ethics program)
  • Prominent advertisement of Sponsored Event on the ACC Georgia Chapter website and social media outlets and via a co-branded email blast to the chapter membership in the weeks prior to the event
  • Posting of presentation materials on the ACC Georgia Chapter website, after the Sponsored Event, and if accepted by ACC Headquarters, posting in the ACC national virtual library.
  • Attendance of up to eight (8) sponsor organization members at CLE Program
  • Pre-approved marketing materials/handouts on tables at CLE Program
  • Acknowledgement of Sponsor organization by chapter board member at the beginning and end of each Program
  • Acknowledgement during the program for role in funding Summer Law Internship Program
  • Two (2) guest invitations to attend the ACC Georgia Chapter Sponsors’ Appreciation event

Silver Level (Maximum 10 Sponsors)

  • Cost: $6,500
  • ACC Georgia will pay all costs associated with venue, food, beverage and gratuities.
  • Sole presenter of CLE Program
  • Prominent advertisement of CLE Program on the ACC Georgia Chapter website and via a co-branded email blast to the chapter membership in the weeks prior to the event
  • Posting of presentation materials on the ACC Georgia Chapter website, and if accepted by ACC Headquarters, posting in the ACC national virtual library.
  • Attendance of up to six (6) sponsor organization members at CLE Program
  • Pre-approved marketing materials/handouts on tables at CLE Program
  • Acknowledgement of Sponsor organization by chapter board member at the beginning and end of each Program
  • Acknowledgement during the program for role in funding Summer Law Internship Program

Networking/Social Gathering (several available throughout the year)

  • Cost: $2,500 paid directly to ACC Georgia.
  • Sponsor pays all venue, food and beverage costs for the event
  • Host of one (1) Networking or Social event for ACC Georgia Chapter members
  • Pre-approved marketing materials/handouts on tables at event
  • Announcement of Sponsor organization at the beginning and end of event
  • Attendance of up to five (5) sponsor organization members at Sponsored Event
  • Acknowledgement for role in funding ACC Georgia legal community initiatives (e.g. law student internship)
  • One (1) guest invitation to attend the ACC Georgia Chapter Sponsors’ Appreciation event

Regional Leader Level (Optional, to pursue outreach to members outside metropolitan Atlanta area)

  • Cost: $3,500
  • Sole presenter of one (1) CLE Program followed by a Networking or Social event
  • Prominent advertisement of Sponsored Events on the ACC Georgia Chapter websites and via a co-branded email blast to the chapter membership in the weeks prior to the event
  • Attendance of up to six (6) sponsor organization members at CLE Program
  • Two (2) guest invitations to attend the ACC Georgia Chapter Sponsors’ Appreciation event

Note: This program will not be made available by web seminar by ACC Georgia. However, the firm can simulcast the program to any of its offices in Georgia to bring in other in-house counsel live to ACC Georgia Chapter members at a location in the region. The firm will pay for such costs.

Women’s Initiative – Catalyst Level

  • Cost: $7,500
  • Depending upon the topic and relevant expertise, the sponsor may appoint a panelist or speaker from their organization to deliver a presentation at, or moderate one of the Women’s Initiative events.
  • Each law firm sponsor may appoint a senior partner of their firm to the Women’s Initiative Steering Committee to serve a one-year term. The Steering Committee will work closely with ACC Georgia Chapter leadership to develop innovative programs that serve to advance women in the in-house legal profession.
  • Prominent advertisement and recognition as a Women’s Initiative Catalyst Level Sponsor on the ACC Georgia Chapter website and in the Women’s Initiative communications.
  • Attendance of up to five (5) sponsor organization members at Women’s Initiative events.
  • Invitation for two (2) sponsor representatives to attend ACC Georgia Chapter Sponsors’ Appreciation event. This event will provide interaction between ACC Georgia Chapter and Sponsors in a relaxed networking atmosphere.
  • Inclusion of organization’s tradeshow display boards and/or other exhibitor materials during the Women’s Initiative events.
