In accordance with Rule 4, All applicants for membership shall return the required signed membership application form to the Membership Secretary together with the annual membership fee. The application shall be presented to the Committee at the earliest opportunity for consideration and approval confirmed by a simple majority vote among those Committee Members and Officers present. In the event that a majority of the Committee and Officers do not approve a membership application the fee shall be returned to the applicant with the letter of refusal. No reason shall be given for refusal. New members may not vote in elections or at General Meetings until 12 calendar months have elapsed from the start date of their membership. However, during the 12 calendar months of membership such members may attend General Meetings. Members may only stand for committee or as an officer in accordance with Rule 20. In the event of a resignation from membership, acknowledgment will be sent by the Hon Secretary or other Officer after 7 days following receipt.
Membership Dues SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE DUE ON THE 1ST JANUARY EACH YEAR
UK & EEC £15 for first member and £5 for each additional family member
Rest of the World £24 for first member or £30 for family membership
All sent payments must be in £ Sterling, cheques in other currency will have a £10 equivalent processing fee deducted.
Overseas Members can now pay by PAYPAL which will incur an additional small fee to cover processing and transfer costs. This can be requested by emailing your name, address and your membership (single or family) to A payments link will be emailed back to you to make your payment.
TO HELP THE COMMITTEE, THE NOMINEE IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A SHORT ACCOUNT ON THE REVERSE OF THIS FORM OF THE APPLICANTS CONTACT WITH MASTIFFS, OR ANY OTHER BREEDS AND INTEREST IN, SUCH AS SHOWING, BREEDING, REARING AS PETS Etc
