Overwhelming respondents used the expression ‘No idea’ to describe how they intend to transport to school from September 2012. Some hope the county council will have secured alternative arrangements by then, while others say they may be forced to drive. Some made further comments that driving may be a cheaper option and some commented that forcing more cars on the road was bad for the environment. Four respondents suggested that they may consider changing schools.

Schools/Communities

The survey also asked School/community respondents to indicate if they are interested in running their own transport arrangements. Of the 7 responses to this question, 4 said yes and would like to know more. These are 2 from Townsend Church of England School, 1 from RoundwoodParkSchool and 1 from OffleyEndowedSchool.
