(a) mRS 0-1 No differences were significant suggesting that hyperglycemia at this level (150 mg/dl) did not influence functional outcome in a major way in the absence of rt-PA, (b) Mortality: Hyperglycemia was associated with a trend toward higher mortality overall in the combined dataset and was significantly increased in Large Vessel Stroke subtype (p=.046). 1c. Symptomatic hemorrhage occurred exclusively in the LVS group in the placebo arm in this matched subset and trended slightly higher in hyperglycemic LVS group (p=1.0).
