Paperless Trading Subgroup Work Plan 2008-2009
- PTS Initiatives
-Submission of completed Paperless Trading Individual Action Plans.
-Establishment of a “Friends-of-the-Chair” Group on Paperless Trading to work on the compliance of the Work Plan.
-Review of the definition and scope of Paperless Trading.
-Review of existing PTS related projects using the Framework for Evaluating Pathfinders and the Suggested Guidelines for Pathfinder Initiatives.
- E-Cert SPS (Australia / New Zealand)

-Assess progress on the implementation of APEC’s Strategies and Actions towards a Cross-Border Paperless Trading Environment.
-Development of a broader Pathfinder that integrates PTS initiatives, in line with the Framework for Evaluating Pathfinders, the Suggested Guidelines for Pathfinder Initiatives and the implementation of the APEC’s Strategies and Actions Towards a Cross-Border Paperless Trading Environment.
-Identification of possible collective actions and targeted capacity building activities to support specific objectives of the Paperless Trading Pathfinder.

-Sub-Committee on Customs Procedures (SCCP)
- Joint Meeting with the SCCP and its SWWG in the margins of SOM I 2009 to discuss further work with the ECSG and its PTS.
- Support to the leading role of the SCCP and its Single Window Working Group (SWWG) in the Single Window Initiative by providing expertise on e-commerce processes.
- Work with the business community (importers, exporters, buyers, sellers, brokers, forwarders, etc.) to develop commercial B2B standards for the Single Window Development.
-Committee on Trade and Investment (CTI)
- Provide expertise on the area of e-commerce to the CTI’s work through ECSG on implementing the paperless trading actions and measures included in the Second Trade Facilitation Action Plan (TFAP II).

Assessment and Best Practices on Paperless Trading to Facilitate Cross Border Trade in APEC Region / Implementation of the project.
