Join Elle Newman for a blend of flowing Vinyasa style yoga with Forrest yoga, a style known for its core work and emphasis on opening upthe shoulders and neck. This centering experience is the perfect way to start your busy day. This group will meet in the Twins Room.

9:00 – 11:15Thriving Thrift Stores – Panel Discussion with Steve Howard, Lisa Anderson, JessicaMansivasager, Laura Johnson, Kristine Strate Panel discussion on the development, current operations, what the future looks like, and lessons learned from providers. You’ll also learn about why and how to create an entity (separate from an agency), how to own and operate the thrift store, and billing matters associated with running a thrift store out of a separate entity.

9:00 – 11:15Staff Retention - Find Them. Get Them. Keep Them. Wanda Grew-Jackson Explore the foundationof staffing management and how they relate to business growth success. Participants will develop a working understanding of identifying, recruiting, and retaining the human resources needed to support all business functions both currently and in the future.

11:30 – 1:15Lunch – located on the volleyball courts. Participants will be entertained with a music performance by a band from Achieve, Dance At Your Own Risk. “Changing Attitudes” is the theme of the current tour of shows. Performing songs about life, love, triumph, and hardship. Dance At Your Own Risk shows us that we are all not so different from one another. The music performance will be followed by the DSP Awards Presentation.

1:30 – 4:00Cashe’- Beyond Billing Automation – Leveraging technology to streamline operations – Praba

Mansivasager, President Cashe’ Software Many MOHR members have been focused on aligning technology to meet the increasing demands for billing and compliance. While this is necessary, this session focuses on leveraging the Cashe’ platforms already inherent capabilities to further streamline operations and reduce costs. The session also takes it a step further to explore the power of data and how it can be applied to help clients improve quality of life using analytics and data science in the future. The attendee will leave with a list of actionable ideas on how to use the Cashe’ platform to increase efficiency and cut cost. They will also learn about how to apply data to improve quality of life for clients by using analytics and big data.

1:30 – 4:00Understanding Autism – Lucas Scott, The Autism Society of Minnesota Understand the characteristics, challenges, and strengths of individuals on the autism spectrum. Learn practical strategies for providing support to those with autism spectrum disorders.

This session will: 1) provide an update on the implementation of the three new employment services being added to Minnesota's HCBS waivers 2) provide tools and resources for transitioning to the employment services and 3) answer questions on how service providers can prepare to provide the new employment services

Ryan will be providing some working documents and asks attendees to bring a laptop.

It is estimated that80% of individuals with FASD have employment hardships. This presentation will include FASD basicKnowledge to give insight on common traits associated with prenatal alcohol exposure and then providepractical strategies to promote employment success.
