Job knowledge – Consider the degree of understanding of the job and related functions. Consider job knowledge relative to the length of time in the current position.
Initiative – Consider degree to which employee has anticipated needs and taken effective action; has been a self-starter; and has taken appropriate independent action when necessary.
Effectiveness – Consider degree to which employee has achieved results and met goals.
Professionalism – Consider how well the employee interacts with other individuals in the performance of job duties. Consider effectiveness of relations with peers, subordinates, supervisor and, if applicable, the general College community and the public. Consider the employee’s cooperativeness, service-orientation, and courtesy.
Dependability – Consider the manner in which the employee applies himself or herself, the extent to which the employee can be counted upon to carry out instructions, and whether the employee has been punctual, had good attendance and met deadlines.
Teamwork – Consider behavior reflecting enthusiasm, dedication and interest regarding position responsibilities and duties. Consider whether the employee expresses willingness to participate in changing work, supports organizational goals and projects, and demonstrates flexibility in response to varying circumstances.
Judgment– Consider effectiveness in analyzing problems and determining appropriate action.
Quality of Work – Consider neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work.
Quantity of Work – Consider the volume of work regularly produced and the consistency of output and speed.
