PICKUP/ CLEANUP
Please pick up after your dog.
Many residents seem to think that if they take their dog out on the hillside parking area or on the back side of the property they do not have to pick up behind them.
That is not the case at all. We have state wide leash laws and everyone is required to pick up after their pets even out on the city streets. We all love our pets, but no one wants to smell their poop, and we certainly do not want to step in it when walking.
It is not the job of our gardeners, maintenance, or janitorial crews to clean up behind your pet. Be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your dog.
VOTING RESULTS
Owners voted overwhelmingly to amend the governing documents. The Board of Directors would like to thank everyone for their participation.
All owners will be receivinga copy of the newly amended CC&Rs and Bylaws. Please keep these documents in a safe place along with your other association records.
Congratulations to the three luckywinners of our electionraffle. Emmanuel Metaxas won $100, Patricia Becker won $200, and Jacki Noh won the $300 prize.

The upcomming Annual Meeting & Election will be held in April. There will be four open positions. The two-year terms will be up for Sol Strand, Jim Lindsay, Nancy Cruff, and Joel Carp. Anyone interested in being a part of this decision making body should submit their name and contact information to the Association office.
The only criteria for running for the Board of Directors is to be an Association member in good standing, and have an interest in serving. You should expect to attend two meetings per month.
If interested in running for the Board, please submit a brief bio along with your contact information at the Association office on or before February 10th. The bio will be placed in the next Newsletter.
A Candidates Night will be held at the February Board of Directors Meeting on the 23rd. It gives all the owners an opportunity to meet and learn more about the candidates.
Remember, the Association’s strength and effectivness is dependant on it’s members’ interest and participation. If you choose not to run for the Board, you should still attend the Candidates Night to learn about the people you will be voting for.
LOST YOUR LAUNDRY?
Please do not leave your laundry in the machines over night and expect to find it when you return. Someone has been removing items from the washers and dryers when no one is around. It is up to you to keep an eye on your belongings.
VANDALS
Gateview has had several incidents of vandalism recently. Tires have been slashed in the garage and on the hillside. If you see anyone or anything suspicious please contact security immediately.
MOLD & MILDEW
It isthat time of year when the weather causes us to want to close the windows and drapes, turn up the heat, and snuggle under the covers. Please remember that Gateview is made of porous concrete. Thisincreases condensation in units unless they are well ventilated. Use dehumidifyers, fans, and open windows to keep air circulating in the unitand minimize the moisture buildup.
