ANNOUNCEMENTS WILL BEGIN IN 30 SECONDS!

There will be an FCCLA meeting this Thursday after school in Mrs. Hale’s room until about 3:15 to discuss a chocolate covered strawberry fundraiser.

Any 1st team A.P. Government student can come to room 210 – Mr. Smith for A.P. review through Wednesday, May 3 or just to pick up A.P. review materials.

TOP DECILE students are reminded that they need to submit their RSVP’s and TRIBUTE WRITER choices to Mrs. Root ASAP. They also are reminded to make an appointment with Mr. Falkowski for a photo. Thank you!

AP World History after-school review sessions will be held in Mr. Keith’s room on May 4, 5, and 8. Sessions will end at 3:45pm.

Attention AP Literature students: Mr. Palmer will host review sessions on Tuesday, May 2nd during Advisory and after school. Please see Mr. Palmer for more information and an A+ pass.

Advanced Placement (AP) Testing will continue through Friday May 12th. Student must take the AP exam to get the weighted grade. Make-up exams are only given with a doctors’ note or emergency family situations. Please see Mr. Bjorkman, AP coordinator, if questions.

Attention Seniors:The Senior Picnic is Friday, May 5, 2017. You may pick up field trip forms from the Main Office, Mr. Reynolds room 420, and Miss Story’s room 562. The FT form and payment can be turnedinto either of the sponsors. Field trip forms are due by May 4th.

Seniors: New scholarships are still coming in. We just received a scholarship for students living in the Marshall or Scott District. Be sure to check out all the scholarships in guidance.

Attention all seniors: Now available on Blackboard under FHS Guidance Information is the Senior Exit Survey. All seniors must complete this survey before they will be able to check out. Please complete the survey as soon as possible. If you receive any notifications that you are receiving a scholarship, you will be able to go in and make any changes.

AP US History review will be held in room 226 during Advisory every day this week and through Thursday, May 4. Term 1 students are strongly encouraged to attend. See Bb for after school sessions.

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY is still collecting cards for our troops through of May 5. Please continue to make cards and deposit them in one of the collection boxes or in Ms. Root’s room. We are very close to our goal of 1,800 cards - we only need about 250 more. Please help us reach our goal. It is such a worthy cause! Also, mark your calendars for FRIDAY, MAY 12 at 10:30, when the American Legion riders will collect our cards.

Attention Students: Yearbooks will be distributed on May 2nd during Advisory. We have less than 100 left, so come to room 319 to order yours soon!

Seniors: Please be sure to complete the Senior Survey. You may access the survey by logging onto your Blackboard Learn and clicking on guidance. Come to guidance if you need help or a computer. You must complete the Senior Survey in order to have your check-list verified.

MEETINGS/EVENTS/DEADLINES

ALL NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS WILL MEET ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 3 at 2:45 in the new cafeteria.

Attention all music lovers: This year's spring acoustic coffee house will be held Wednesday, May 3rd from 6-8 P.M.in the library. There is $3 cover charge to attend, or you can bring the equivalent in pet supplies to support our April pet drive! If you would like to play music, sing, read poetry, or show off your acoustic talents, please sign up in the library.

Anime Club will hold its Spring Cosplay Showcase on Friday from 2:45-4:00 in room 602 in the Cube. All are welcome.

[All scholarships will be due before first block on the due date. The best way to make sure you are on time is to turn them in early. We are always happy to take them EARLY. Don't delay. No exceptions. ]
