Announcements for Wednesday, December 13, 2017 – “BDay”

Nurse Tracy will be leaving the building at 1 p.m. today. Students, if you need the services of the clinic in her absence, please seek out an adult before entering the clinic. If you are admitted into the clinic, please make sure you sign in on her log so she can check on her patients when she returns. Thank you!

The Grand Opening of our new PROWL Prize Store will be on Tuesday, December 19! Pleasestartsaving your Beville Bucks each day to cash in for a PRIZE. You may be able to purchase cool items such as gift cards,bowling passes, bracelets, Beville lanyards, posters, books, and much more!!!

The mitten tree is up in the Merrifield Café! Faculty, staff, and students are invited to bring mittens, hats, gloves, and earmuffs to adorn the tree! Items that are collected are then given to the area shelters. We thank you in advance for your generosity!

This Friday is the deadline to collect items for the homeless community in Prince William County.The seventh period class with the most items will win a pizza party!Our goal as Beville is to collect 1,000 items. That is about 20 items a homeroom. Please encourage kids to bring in items listedbelow:

□Diapers & Wipes (especially size 3-6)

□Toilet paper

□Toothbrushes (adult size) and toothpaste

□Body wash/soap, men’s/women’s deodorant, Neosporin ointment, hand sanitizer, lotion, feminine hygiene products (especially maxi pads)

□Baby wipes, diaper rash lotion/ointment

□Shampoo

□Sunblock and insect repellent – homeless shelters

□Liquid hand soap

□Tissues

Right now we are around 350 items:

Ms. St. Pierre is leading with 101 items;

Mrs. Davani with around 90 items;

Mrs. Karnbach with 42 items.

We still have the rest of the week. Let's see which period 7 will be crowned as winner and win the pizza party.
