An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Analyst to join our Finance department, specialising in management and financial reporting.
As the Analyst – Reporting, you will be working in a team of seven to provide reliable, timely and insightful financial and performance reports. You will also assist the Finance Manager, to develop new reports and dashboards to andimprove efficiency and modernise reports.

Key Responsibilities
Using accounting experience, the individual will be responsible for;
- Production and analysis of monthly financial reports and business performance data for both capital and operating expenditure
- Production and analysis of reports for the 10 year plan and budgets
- Supporting the production of the regulatory and statutory accounts and the Regulatory Reporting Pack (RRP)
- Production and analysis of forecast information
- Production and analysis of tax information and returns
- Assisting with financial modelling and reporting for financial items such as overheads, depreciation and assets in the course of construction
- Development of new reports and dashboards to improve Management reporting effectiveness and efficiency
- Supporting others in finance with ad hoc reporting to deal with business queries

- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strong IT skills ideally having used Oracle Core Financial System
- Excellent planning, organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail skills
- Time management and delivery of tasks to deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and able to cross collaborate working with senior managers
- Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Qualifications & Attributes
There are minimum requirements for all applicants:
A Levels – You have 240 UCAS points or equivalent
Maths – You have either A level Maths or a minimum grade B in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths.
You will have achieved or be working towards an accountancy qualification (having passed Operational level of CIMA or equivalent) and
You will have at least 2 years of experience of financial or management reporting in a finance department.
It is essential that you are competent in the MS Office applications specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- An undergraduate honours degree
- Experience gained within similar industry is preferred

Salary
Starting salary £26,748
There is the ability to progress to £31,009 through the competency framework, training and exam success.
