ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, established in the year 1960-61, under the auspices of “The Malnad Technical Education Society, Hassan”. At present, the college offers 9 B.E. programs, 4 M.Tech. programs, MCA program and M.Sc. (Engg.)/ Ph.D. programs and at present has 2750 students on rolls. The institution has been able to contribute a large pool of talented engineers and researchers to the society. The College is one amongst the 19 Engineering Colleges in the State qualified for Phase-II of the Technical Education Quality Improvement Program, a world bank sponsored project.
ABOUTIIIC:
The enterprising and industrious students have valuable inputs and skills in the class rooms by the best of faculty. However, to bridge the gap between the theoretical and practical aspects of the curriculum, corporate/industrial interaction is extremely important. The Industry Institute Interaction Cell, MCE recognizes this need and addresses it through the regular association and meeting with corporate and provides industry exposure to the students and faculty and enables them to pick up skills in addition to what is being imparted in the class rooms.
ABOUT SS Group of Industries:
Started in Bangalore, in the year 1989 by Dr.K.Shamasundar in a very small and humble way with just 3 employees. Today, the company has grown to such heights that it houses 100+ employees and has established a name for itself in respective casting and steel line. S.S.E.I is an ISO 9001:2008 company, which has developed its own products in nonferrous section, such as gunmetal bushes of all sizes, motor bearing and bushes, auto components, cam bushes, etc.

Applicant is to be a faculty of a Mechanical Engineering Sciences / Research Scholar / PG Student / employee of an industry/ R&D.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Manufacturing processare the steps through which raw materials are transformed into final products. Manufacturing process begins with the product design and materials specification from which the product is made.Material processing dominates the manufacturing activities. The advancement in technology for future requirements in diverse fields needs the development of new materials and manufacturing technologies.
