Function

The Brussels office is developing a growing reputation of working with various public sector institutions in Belgium seeking to transform public services and develop new ways of working. You will be part of ourpublic sector team and you will continue to develop your public and administrative law expertise in all aspects of economic public law. You will work as an integrated team member of our public sector team with specialists of all other practices of our firmin order to support our continued growth in the public sector.

You will deal with public procurement law and contracts with public (or para-public) law entities, energy law related matters or public law issues arising in connection with corporate or real estate transactions.

We are looking for a qualified lawyer with experience in public and administrative law to join our expanding team in Brussels. The successful candidate will have an interest in developing the public law practice in an integrated multi-disciplinary environment, working closely with other practices (notably real estate, corporate, commercial and employment law) to sustain the growth of the public sector practice.

Profile

You are an experienced and skilled administrative and public law lawyer with minimum +10 years of experience in the field of economic public law and administrative law.
You have noticeable experience and background in the public and administrative department of a Belgian prominent business law firm.
You have developed your own public law practice and you wish to work in an intergraded multi-disciplinary environment closely with other practices ( notably, real estate, corporate, commercial, labor law) to sustain the grow of our public sector practice

You will demonstrate your skills and motivation to contribute to grow our public sector practice.

KeySkills and Experience

Specialist knowledge in public economic law, PPP's, state aids and public restructurings.
Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
Excellent legal, entrepreneurial and communication skills.
Enthusiastic team player with commitment to quality and client care
Excellent analytical skills necessary to master complex matters
Strong academics
Ability to demonstrate experience in marketing
