NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Group Legal Services Association will be held at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District Hotel, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 11:45 a.m. for the following purpose:
To elect three persons to serve on the Group Legal Services Association’s Board of Directors for terms of three years.

The 2015 Annual Meeting of the members will take place at a luncheon to be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 during the GLSA Annual Educational Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At this meeting, three directors will be elected to serve three-year terms on the Institute’s board of directors.
After careful consideration, the Nominating Committee has selected the following six (6) individuals as nominees for the open positions on the board of directors.

[Continued on Back]The enclosed proxy lists, in alphabetical order, the names of the six individuals selected as nominees by the Nominating Committee. A separate attachment provides short biographical statements about each of these individuals. The candidates have also been furnished with mailing labels to enable them to campaign in the election. Additionally, the candidates will have an opportunity to discuss their backgrounds and ideas for the future of the Association immediately preceding the Welcome Reception. Meet the Candidates Forum to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Philadelphia, PA.
Each eligible Regular Member of the GLSA may cast up to three votes, but no more than one vote for a particular candidate. Pursuant to Article 4.06 of the GLSA bylaws, the Board of Directors has fixed the record date for eligibility to vote in the election as the close of business on April 7, 2015. Regular Members whose names appear on the official roster of members published on that date – whose 2015 membership dues have been paid as of the April 7, 2015 record date – are eligible to participate in the election.
Even if you expect to attend the Annual Meeting in person, please mark, date and sign the enclosed proxy. This will facilitate the vote tabulation. If you should change your mind, you may revoke your proxy at any time before it is counted during the Annual Meeting. Please note that only the person who has signed the original proxy may revoke it and cast another ballot at the Annual Meeting, unless the individual wishing to revoke his/her proxy designates, in writing, another individual to act on his or her behalf in this regard.
To ensure that your proxy will be counted, please fill it out and return to the GLSA in the enclosed “Official Ballot Envelope” so that it will REACH the Association no later than Friday, April 10, 2015. Please note that Inspectors of Election will open all “Official Ballot Envelopes” on Friday, April 17, 2015 during the Annual Meeting of Members. Therefore, the “Official Ballot Envelope” should not be used for any purpose other than mailing the proxy to the GLSA office.
