The ESD Journal provides the industry's only approval program for the qualification of the electrical and static performance of a wide range of products including flooring, footwear, personnel grounding devices, garments, work surfaces, tools, seating, workbenches and packaging which are intended for electrostatic sensitive applications. The ESD Journal Seal of Approval is the only method to have a product recognized as meeting industry expectations and standards. The Seal of Approval means the product is “Fit for Its Intended Use.”

The ESD Journalor the approved labsrigorously test all products submitted for the Seal of Approval per stringent ESD Journal and industry standards. The ESD Journal standards are always Performance Oriented and Application Specific. Only products, which have passed these standards and a review panel of our experts, may use The ESD Journal Seal of Approval in promotional literature or on the product.

The specific qualification for being listed is stated on the listing document as well as qualified on the The ESD Journal Listed Seal . Products may be qualified for specific uses such as for

The ESD and Electrostatic Magazine on-line

The ESD Journal is the only trade magazine dedicated to the electrostatic industry - and it is all ‘on-line’. The ESD Journal has been on-line for six years. During this time the Journal has never attempted to "spam" the industry to increase our reader base. We have built the over 150,000 visits per month one reader at a time by reporting on items of importance to ESD professionals. We have built this base of industry readers by being active in the committees and companies serving the industry. Our experts are active in the ESD Association and ASTM.

The ESD Journal has become the "portal" for the ESD Industry. Companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Motorola list our magazine as one of their "to be viewed" references.

“I liken it to a USA Today for ESD control.”

Corporate Marketing Manager of a major ESD Distributor

Unlike "ink & paper" magazines, the ESD Journal's over 150,000 visits per month are pre-qualified since the readers made the effort to seek out the magazine on-line.

In normal trade magazines (as in all paper form magazines), only about

6% of those that pick up the magazine will see a particular advertisement.

Henderson Advertising

One major trade magazine for our industry has approximately 80,000 subscribers per month. Which means that only 4,800 people may see a particular article or advertisement and, it is unlikely that the magazine will be read more than once. The ESD Journal changes daily and is read by some ESD industry personnel four or more times per month.

The ESD Journal is the only trade magazine in the industry with its own labs and experts for testing products, ideas, theories, inventions and products. The ESD Journal is sometimes called the "Consumer Report" or the “Good Housekeeping” for the electrostatics industry. Therefore the ESD Journal is the best place for the industry’s Seal of Approval.
