Before me, the undersigned authority, personally appeared Gordon Wayne Watts, who first being duly sworn, upon oath, says:

AFFIANT STATEMENT:

I am Gordon Wayne Watts, who, on Thursday, 19 June 2008, filed with the Florida Department of State, Division of Elections to run for Seat 64 in the Florida House of Representatives, and, in doing so, I filled out the public disclosure of financial interests form and got it notarized, as required by law.

However, after submitting it, I discovered small, unintentional errors. I apologize, and I wish to correct the errors in the same manner I made them, so I’m submitting an amendment / correction, here.

FURTHER AFFIANT SAYETH:

The PART “A” Net Worth figure was wrong, because I had more debt than I initially figured, and I must recalculate it.

Here are the raw figures which I will need when I fill in the corrected form:

* My car’s “Kelly Blue Book” value was listed as $1,250.00 and seems correct.

* My outstanding principal balance to my college loans (Sallie Mae) was indeed $46,542.57, but I neglected to include $105.61 of interest, and the total college loan debt at the time of my original disclosure was $46,648.18

* I appear to still owe Watson Clinic (Lakeland, Florida) $7,283.50 for an old debt I had forgotten ($7,338.50 - a $55.00 payment = $7,283.50).

* My available checking balance at disclosure time was listed as $0.63, and my available debit account balance was listed as $0.12 then, for a total of $0.75 in available funds and seems correct.

* My income for the Fiscal Year 2007 was $0.00 as I was unemployed since June 30, 2006 and until present.

Thus, I am re-calculating the Part “A” figure as follows: {$46,648.18 + $7,283.50} minus {$1,250.00 + $0.75} = $52,680.93 of DEBT, not the $45,291.82 figure incorrectly listed initially.

Therefore, I am including another copy of the corrected disclosure, using these figures, with this affidavit, here. I apologize again for the human oversight; these figures seem correct: Please see the attached “Form 6” corrected disclosure.
