Nurse Manager of Emergency Services – Lankenau Medical Center (Wynnewood, PA)

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager of Emergency Services to lead our busy ED at Lankenau Medical Center. We are expanding, as we are on the journey of becoming accredited as a Level II Trauma Center. With currently 26-beds, we see about 55,000+ visits per year. We have plans to build a state-of-the-art 60-bed ED over the next two years, and also have plans to roll-out a new EMR system: EPIC. With all of these exciting changes to be implemented, we are seeking a Dynamic Leader that has a proven track record of spear-heading change and building/leading a diverse team. Relocation Candidates are welcome! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

·  Providing leadership to staff in the maintenance of professional nursing practice

·  Provision of quality patient care and a culture of safety.

·  Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to be accountable for patient care activities and the development of staff in a fiscally sound manner.

·  Leading and facilitating shared decision-making initiatives resulting in a superior patient experience.


Qualifications

·  Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
BSN required; MSN or other related Masters Degree obtained or near completion
Ability to communicate proficiently in English to perform job duties

·  Trauma experience preferred.

·  Prior management, supervisor, charge, coordinator, or other related leadership experience required, specifically in Emergency Medicine.

·  3-5 years clinical experience in the Emergency Department preferred

·  Current PA RN license or eligibility to obtain reciprocity.

·  Maintain validation of current BLS training (CPR), ACLS, PALS. TNCC preferred. CEN desired.
