Walter Alza is an award-winning actor/filmmaker with over 20 years experience, with over 40 Film/TV credits and over 250 hours of TV & Film to his name. Some Recent credits includes: ZOS as UN Captain Rafales, as Raoul in Paramount Pictures ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin', with 50 cent, Terrance Howard. CBC’s ‘At the Hotel’. And in his acclaimed Starring role as Andreas Maradona in ‘Metropia”. Walter Alza also develops films for Alza 44films Ltd and other companies. Alza’s talent has manifested itself in several different artistic expressions – as an actor, a filmmaker, and as a coach—a dedicated and insightful mentor who is having a profound effect on many of Canada’s most diverse and promising emerging, and established actors. The classes at The Alza Studio (which are conducted on-camera, and are available from beginning to advanced levels, and also privately) focus primarily on scene study, but also include exercises in character development, cold readings, auditions, on-camera technique, and how to maintain an emotionally healthy approach to your acting career. Walter Alza’s own classical training, and his more than twenty years as a highly respected actor and filmmaker have gone into the development of his teaching philosophy and curriculum. Alza also is Currently in pre-production with many productions including “P.I.F.” explores serious subject matter, tempered with Alza’s unique viewpoint, and promises to be another exceptional and important cinematic experience.
