Ready 4 Work- An early morning service in the home to enable carers to prepare for their working day. This service is available Monday-Friday up to 1.5hrs per day from 7am.

Kelly House is a five bed facility based respite service located at 63 Scenic Road Warragul. The service provides respite for all adults with disabilities that are eligible for services under the Disability Act 2006.

The service has 2 staff support during waking hours and a sleepover staff person overnight. The service is open 365 days per year however no staff are present at the service between the hours of 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.

Services:

Disability Accommodation Services (DAS) provides a variety of respite options for people with a disability.

DAS has four respite facilities, two for adults KIAH in Sale and Licoln Street in Moe and two for under 18 of age Strathfield Court in Warragul and Franklin Street which is also in Sale.

DAS also provides a small flexible program that is community based or in the carer's home. RAILS is a service provided to a group of adolescents which teaches new skills to participants as well as provide carers with a break. RAILS is offered in one of the adult facilities. Dixie Chicks is a group that is community based for girls from the age of 10 to 16. The Happy Trio are a group of ladies from the Latrobe Valley who choose their respite destination within the community. Access to any of the above is through Intake and Response phone 1800783783.

Gippsland DAS offers regular respite every 4 to 6 weeks for carers as well as emergency service if required. DAS Gippsland does not have any long term clients within the respite system.

DAS has a client/carer feedback process in place for client outcomes and quality service provision.
