Job Title / Binder Operator / Reports to / Batch / Binder Supervisor

Job Purpose / Responsibilities –
Ø Binder preparation and supply binder for Tel – Line # 1, 2 & RPL as per requirement.
Key Accountabilities
Ø Preparation all raw materials for binder mixing and resin cooking
Ø Preparation of resin cooking and binder for all production lines.
Ø Keep (80%) full of raw materials all day tanks
Ø Control binder day tanks level for both lines and RPL.
Ø Follow the binder & resin formulation as per production engineer
Ø Check binder flow rates every week and adjust the metering pump if necessary to maintain the binder LOI/solid % as per the required tolerance and demanded weights
Ø Metering pump, distribution pumps binder equipment are rinsed with fresh water
Immediately after production shut down, day tanks filters of binder, wash water, resin, Oil and Silane \ A. sulphate are cleaned once each shift.
Ø Must be log on all activities for tracing the problems or references
Ø Respect safety regulations all the time.
Ø Report to Batch / Binder Supervisor for any abnormalities
EHS Responsibility:
Ø Ensures compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS), in line with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001, with emphasis on compliance and continuous improvements.
Authority:
Ø To halt performing the activity and inform his superiors , in case of any issues related to quality, environment & safety
Accountability:
Ø Binder Preparation
Ø Filter cleaning & binder supply lines during stoppage
Ø Auto /Manual operation of Line-1, Line-2 &RPL binder preparation system
Relevant Education, Knowledge & Experience:
Ø Verbal and written communication in English is necessary
Ø Two years relevant experience
Ø Respect, Cooperate Flexibility with suddenly changes in job and duties. Accept all job responsibility as per required.
Ø Minimum high school graduated
Ø Chemical handling experience
