2017 Lowell Observatory Solar Eclipse Experience
Vendor Terms & Conditions
Fees: the fee is for a 10 x 20 Food and Beverage space $1,500 or a 10 x 10 Retail or Commercial space $1,200. Discounts are given to non-profits.
Space Assignments: All spaces are located on the football field and track area. While Lowell Observatory makes every effort to ensure space assignments, space assignments cannot be guaranteed. Lowell Observatory reserves the right to modify space assignments as may be required.
Vendor Parking: There is a designated parking lot for all Vendors. Handicapped vendor parking is in a designated location within the parking lot. Only vendor with a Solar Eclipse Experience parking permit will be allowed into the vendor parking lot. There is limited space in the vendor parking lot for overnight camper parking.
Festival Conditions:
· No vehicles or RV allowed to park next to your exhibit or booth area.
· Nothing heavier than a golf cart allowed on the track or football field.
· No dogs or animals in, or around, your exhibit or booth area
· All servicing of your exhibit or booth area will be done before 8:00 am; all service vehicles must be removed by then.
· No deposit, or fee, will be refunded after May 21, 2017 in case of cancellation.
· Vendors must furnish all extension cords, hoses, tables, chairs and any other special needs.
· Vendor’s will receive 4 vendor passes, Additional Passes @ $10.
· SAFETY, FIRE, HEALTH AND SAFETY, FIRE, HEALTH AND APPLICABLE LAWS:
This exhibitor shall assume all responsibility for compliance with local, city, state and federal safety, fire, health and other ordinances and laws regarding installation of and operation of equipment, displays and exhibit materials. Vendors are 100% responsible for their vending or promotional operation. This includes ALL applicable permits, insurance, and licensure (Food vendors, please provide copies with application and payment. Lowell Observatory must be listed on insurance as an additional insured. To obtain a permit call the Jefferson County Health Department @ 541-475-4456.Lowell Observatory Solar Eclipse Experience will NOT provide tables, chairs or electrical cords.
· Noise: Exhibits which include the operations of musical instruments, radios sound motion picture equipment, public address systems or any noise-making machines must be operated exhibitors and their patrons.
· SUBLETTING OF SPACE: The exhibitor agrees not to assign, sublet, or apportion space or any part thereof allotted to him. No exhibitor will be permitted to sell/display his products or services outside the confines of assigned booth in the festival area.
· Vendors may retain 100% of their generated revenue. Vendor fee is non-refundable after May 21, 2017.
