Elementary

·  ​Lacassine basketball camp will be June 5-8 for grades k-8th. Registration forms are on the ledge outside of the office or on the LHS website.

·  State Golf Championship Tshirts are on sale if you would like to purchase one get an order form from your teacher.

·  BRACELETS FOR BABY WADE DAVIS WILL BE ON SALE STARTING WEDNESDAY, MAY 10TH FOR $2 IN THE OFFICE. WADE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH BILATERAL RETINOBLASTOMA WHICH MEANS CANCER IN BOTH EYES. HE HAD HIS LEFT EYE REMOVED AND HAS STARTED CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENTS. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE TO THIS FAMILY TO HELP WITH MEDICAL EXPENSES MAKE CHECKS TO MRS. TARA BOURGEOIS IN THE FRONT OFFICE. WADE HAS 4 SIBLINGS AND 2 OF THEM COME TO LACASSINE. HALLI IS IN THE 5TH GRADE AND HEIDI IS IN SECOND. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

·  Jr High Cheerleaders are selling car decals. The decals say #CARDINALNATION (red letters). The cost is 12.00. If you would like one please tell your homeroom teacher. Teachers please email Erica LeBlanc the names of students.

·  Bring your boxtops in and give to your first hour teacher!!

Jr. High

·  Softball tryouts will be May 18th and 19th. Forms have to be signed by parents and playersin order to come to tryouts. Forms will go home on Monday. They are to be turned in to Mrs. Brittany Nunez by Thursday May 18th. Any questions see Mrs. Nunez.Only 2017-2018 7th-12th graders are able to try out.

·  If you would like to work at Lacassine High School for the summer,helping to prepare the classrooms for next year please sign up in the office. You must be 16 years old, and be able to work from 7am to 3pm.

·  ​All juniors should turn in next year's course request forms ASAP to Mrs. Natali. Also, if you wish to take classes at Sowela see Mrs. Natali for an application.

·  Sowela has announced a Summer Welding Camp for 8th-12th graders. If you would like more information, please see Mrs. Natali.

·  Any student who will be getting their Driver’s Permit or Driver’s License, you MUST pick up a form from the office FIRST. You will need this form at the DMV when you go.

·  JUNIORS!!!! Anyone interested in taking the CNA course at Sowela next year needs to get a packet from Mrs. Natali.
