Speaker: Dr Richard Coles

The Reverend Richard Coles is a broadcaster, writer and Church of England priest - but he’s best known for having been one half of the 1980s band, The Communards.

With a successful media career already established,he trained for a priesthood in the Church of England - becoming what could only be described as a ‘very modern’ vicar. He was a Curate in Lincolnshire before moving to St Paul's Knightsbridge and becoming Chaplain to the Royal Academy of Music.

He continues to work in broadcasting, as an opera reviewer and contributor to Newsnight Review. He has been a panellist on Have I Got News For You and presents Radio 4’s Saturday Live and the odd Songs of Praise special.

Speaker: PAUL GOLDSTEIN Award winning photographer, presenter, author and guide Paul likes nothing better than spending endless hours waiting for that animal to make his or her move. He is not interested in Photoshop or indeed any other form of manipulation preferring to show what he has taken rather than manufactured. He has spent 25 years guiding wildlife safaris and expeditions and owns his own set of safari camps in Kenya.

He is opinionated and outspoken and not everybody's cup of tea but ' if you want to become a wildlife photographer, no-one will drag you up the slope quicker' (S.Times)

Eveis often referred to as ‘The First Lady of Fleet Street’. She was one of the first female editors of a national newspaper in the UK, editing the Sunday Mirror from 1987-1991 and the Sunday Express from 1991-1994.
In 1985 Eve was launch editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine in the US and edited the Sunday magazine for the News of the World and You Magazine for the Mail on Sunday.
In television she was the features editor for TV AM and also devised the series Frocks-on- the-Box for TVS which ran for twenty six shows in total.

She also appeared as a regular participant in Through the Keyhole and been a guest panellist on Loose Women.
Eve was ITV’s correspondent for the Royal Wedding of William and Catherine in 2011 and was part of the ITV team again in 2012 for the Diamond Jubilee coverage and reporting on the birth of the Royal baby.
Eve has been a member of the Competition Commission’s Newspaper Takeover Panel appointed in 1999. Her publications includeJackie, a biography of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (1971), and four jointly written novels: Splash (1995) Best of Enemies (1996), Double Trouble (1997) and Unfinished Business (1998).
Eve has become increasingly frustrated by the lack of stylish clothes available for older women and has launched her owndesigner range of dresses.

She has been Vice-Chairman of the women’s health charityWellbeing of Womensince 2003 and was Chairman of the BBC Radio 4 panel ‘UK’s100 Most Powerful Women 2013’.
