Directions: Decorate your Math Reference Notebook (MRN) according to the guidelines below:

The front cover of your MRN has the following somewhere in writing and is easily readable:

¨  Your name

¨  Algebra I and your section (8A or 8B)

¨  School year (2014-2015)

The front and back covers of your MRN are yours to decorate. Please choose numbers that are significant to you. Use images and text to explain each of your numbers. You may choose to hand write, type, cut and paste, or use a mixture of these techniques.

Your cover should include at least 10 numbers about you. You should include at least one of each of the following, but you will need to repeat some categories to get a total of 10:

¨  Cardinal number (“counting” numbers)

¨  Ordinal number (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.)

¨  Fraction

¨  Decimal

¨  Percent

Please choose numbers that make you interesting. I hope to learn something unusual and exciting about each of you. Things you might include:

·  Number of times you’ve done ______
