The Bergen Town Board convened in a regular session at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall with Supervisor Cunningham presiding.

MINUTES: CouncilwomanGrant made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of July 26, 2017; seconded by Councilman Anderson it carried by a vote 5-0.

REPORTS:
HIGHWAY/REFUSE: helped the village pave Hartland subdivision; paved the west side of Swamp Rd.; received a check from the State for Snow and Ice payment of $2,640 is in question.
SUPERVISORS AND TOWN CLERK’S JULY 2017 REPORTS: Councilman Haywood made a motion to file the Supervisors and Town Clerk’s July 2017 reports; seconded by Councilman Anderson and it carried by a vote 5-0.
COMMITTEES:
BUILDINGS: Grant submitted next Aug. 14th; Councilman Haywood attended the Bergen Meadows celebration and presented the proclamation.
PARKS: Nothing to report

OLD BUSINESS:
Facebook Account Supervisor Cunningham contacted the Town Attorney about a policy
Clean Energy Communities Program the Town Board tabled pursuingthe program
NEWBUSINESS:
Proposed Countywide shared Services opportunities a public information meeting August 9th at 5:30 at the old County Court House.
Transfer Station Flyer a flyer has been passed by a village resident against the transfer station moving to the Village. The Town Board is gathering information and reviewing options for Transfer Station operations. No formal action has taken place for relocation.
Travel Request Councilwoman Grant made a motion to approve the travel request of Justice Nenni not to exceed $1,000.00; seconded by Councilman Haywood and it carried by vote 5-0.

Water District Update Town wide water report from Chatfield Engineers
BILLS: The bills were presented for audit and totaled General A Fund $16,595.46; General B Fund $2,486.06; Highway DB $38,439.96; PA-A $2,957.49; PA-DB $2,899.89. Councilman Stonemade a motion to pay the Augustbills; seconded by Councilwoman Grantand it carried by a vote5-0.
