TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE ALFORD TOWN COUNCIL

You are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of the Alford Town Council, which will be held in the upstairs meeting of Alford Focal Point, Alford on Tuesday 17thApril 2018 at 7.15pm. The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda.

There will be a 15 minute public forum between 7.15 and 7.30 when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period. Should there be no representation by members of the public the meeting will start at 7.15pm.

  1. To receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting.
  2. To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items

not previously recorded on Members’ Register of Interests and any written requests for dispensation.

  1. To approve as a correct record the notes of the meeting of the Council held on 20thMarch 2018 and 27th March and to authorise the Chairman to sign the official minutes.

a)To approve accounts for payment.

b)To consider refurbishment of mayoral jewel.

  3. Update on cemetery maintenance.
  4. To discuss issues relating to LCC assets.
  5. Planning and Development to be considered.

a.The Manor House, West Street – To remove condition no.1 (Marquee time restriction) as imposed by planning permission N/003/1638/10.

b.49 South Street –Removal of 5 ash/sycamore trees within the Alford Conservation Area to benefit the growth of adjacent trees.
