Aleesha Kveton Named to Village Bank Board of Directors

Blaine, MN September 7, 2010—Village Bank Vice President, Aleesha Kveton has been named to the Village Bank Board of Directors and approved by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation(FDIC).“As Owner of Village Bank, I’m proud of Aleesha’s commitment to building a Bank that is financially strong, dedicated to its community, and to building a team committed to professionalism and integrity. As a father, I’m honored to have her at my side to continue my vision of building strong relationships with our customers, and I’m proud of her growth from Teller to Vice President. Aleesha’s educational background and her drive to continuously expand upon that knowledge, sets an example for all of us, including me. She will be a great asset to the Village Bank Board of Directors and will bring an energetic presence focused on innovation for the future of the Bank,” said Don Kveton, Owner and CEO.

Kveton has spent the last six years developing a comprehensive view of the bank. She has learned from the ground up to develop a full understanding of how all aspects of the bank must work in unison. Kveton’s relationship with customers, focus on technology, understanding of operations and superior communication skills will be a tremendous asset to an already strong Board of Directors.Kveton believes strongly in networking, community involvement, industry and especially family. “I have been fortunate to have met so many wonderful leaders, innovators and business owners,” shared Kveton, “I feel it is my obligation to give back and always be searching for ways to take the banking industry to another level.” Currently she mentors two other women who are also part of family-owned businesses.

Kveton said, “Some of my proudest accomplishments are the various boards and foundations I have been fortunate enough to be associated.” Kveton has served on the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Foundation Board, the Children’s Hospital Foundation Board, the City of Ramsey Foundation Board, andnumerous community and chamber related committees and groups.

Kveton graduated in May of 2010 with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a focus on finance and management from the University of St. Thomas where she also received her undergraduate degree. Kveton is currently enrolled, and has completed her first year, in the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin.
