Dialogues
(This one references how the beast races lacked shoes, and also how npc's would remain in their cells for the entire game)
BodethiFarano: Skeetul?
Skeetul: Yes?
BedthiFarano: You dont spend as much time here as you used to, why is that?
Skeetul: I've learned over the years to save my money. In my younger days, I didn't even have a pair of shoes.
BodethiFarano: I remember, you left ash all over my carpets!
Skeetul: Sorry about that.
(reference to red mountains later destruction)
BodethiFarano:Hassour, do the blight storms get worse anywhere else?
HassourZainsubani: It really depends on how close you get to red mountain. I've heard the skies are filled with fire past the ghostfence.
BodethiFarano: Thats terrible. I swear someday red mountain is going to explode.
HassourZainsubani: I hope we aren't around when that happens..
Shashev is laying low, since the player can assasinate him later for the mages guild
FathusaGirethi: what are you doing over here anyway?
Shashev: I'm sorry?
Fathusa: I heard you muttering a minute ago.
Shashev: It's nothing. Dont worry about it... damn commoners..
Fathusa:
Sadrynvolos does not even have a USEP article.
Sadryn Volos: "You know, the volos name was once sung all around this hall!"
Skeetul: "I remember no such thing"
Sadryn: "Oh really skeetul? you dont remember? "oh Sadryn, Sadryn, please tell me more about yourself!"
Skeetul: "and what did you tell them, if they were so interested?"
Sadryn: "um.. well..."
Skeetul: "Your embarrassing yourself. You should cut down on the drink."
Sadryn: "No... people WILL remember me"
Skeetul: "as the town drunk, perhaps.."
These two are both down on their luck.
MerthierryLaelippe: So.. You heard netches?
Tuundir: Well, not right now I dont.
MerthierryLaelippe: What happened?
Tuundir: I got fired when they caught me feeding sujamma to the betties. Turns out their even more violent when drunk..
MerthierryLaelippe:Haha, I bet they are.
(seperate conversation)
Tuundir: What do you do?
MerthierryLaelippe: Well I came up here to be a farmer. The isles were too expensive, and someone told me I could get more land for my money.
Tuundir: They didn't tell you your land was almost worthless then?
MerthierryLaelippe: No. I can't even find my farm anymore, it's all buried in ash. I'd get torn to pieces by the wildlife anyway.
(A toast)
Tuundir: Well, we may both be here drinking our troubles away, but at least we can do it in fine company!
MerthierryLaelippe: To failiure!
Tuundir: To incompetance!
(not all the bards are wabbajacking away, some are the commonplace, brooding type)
Bodethifarano: Need a drink Fathusa?
FathusaGirethi: "No, I need to focus on my song.."
Bodethi: Whats it about?
Fathusa: I call it "The Ash of Aldruhn"
Bodethi: ugh, ive heard enough about ash as it is"
Fathusa: Trust me, you'll like it!
"the ash of Aldruhn falls like grey snow, twisted and blighted it falls high and low.."
Bodethi:well, good luck with it, I have drinks to serve.
Fathusa: Wait! there's more!
Bodethi: That's fine Fathusa, I really must be getting on now.
